I have to be honest, before meeting Dr Chad, I was a skeptic of chiropractic care. I had a couple of earlier experiences with chiropractic elsewhere in Denver which only reinforced my skepticism. However, after “two strikes” with other chiropractic offices, and an ongoing nagging lower back issue, my wife convinced me to try Dr Chad @ Connected Health Centennial, located off of Smoky Hill and Gibraltar - just across the street from King Soopers. She had been in prior, and was quite impressed with Dr Chad, so I reluctantly agreed to give chiropractic just one more try. Well, what do you know?! I have been seeing Dr Chad for a couple of months now, and I am officially a CHIROPRACTIC CONVERT! The entire office is laid back, welcoming, unassuming, friendly, and inviting. On my first visit, I of course did X-Rays and had a consult with Dr Chad. Everything was explained to me in easy to understand terminology (I’m not the smartest guy in the world, so this was very helpful!), and with that explanation, I was given the freedom to express to Dr Chad how I felt about coming in 3 times per week, week after week. I explained that I have a busy schedule, and it is often hard to commit to so many appointments. With understanding and without hesitation, Dr Chad offered me a couple of different care plans that would benefit me, without forcing my hand on commitment. It was up to me to decide on how quickly I wanted to feel better. I felt no pressure, even though he knew that more frequent adjustments, especially in the beginning, was going to be more beneficial to me than a once per week, or even once every other week visit would provide for me. I felt no pressure to adhere to his schedule, but was given the option to work at my pace. His no-pressure approach was exactly what a (former) skeptic like me really needed. Dr Chad is not only a friendly and charming individual, he is also very fit, which is extremely important when he is adjusting a 250 lb man (yes, I just put my weight into my Google Review - I’ll admit it publicly, I am a big man). However, I have seen even bigger men on his table, so if you are worried about your size, give Dr Chad a try! He is awesome! I have had to reschedule and/or cancel a couple of times due to my hectic and often unpredictable work schedule, and his fun and friendly receptionist, Alison, has not once made me feel bad for doing so. In fact, just today, I felt the need for an adjustment, so I called Alison at 10am and saw Dr Chad at noon. From what I have witnessed, both he and his colleague Dr Nicole are very welcoming to add-on adjustments throughout their busy day. (I have not yet had an adjustment from Dr Nicole, but I have been assured that she too would have no problem adjusting a big guy like me either!) One additional bonus with this great staff and office is their on-staff masseuse, Jacqueline. Get a massage, then an adjustment! So, take a former chiropractic skeptic’s advice when I say, go see Dr Chad and the amazing people at Connected Health Centennial soon! You will be happy you did!!
